Completely self taught, Mark has spent twenty years in the creative industries before committing to becoming a professional artist.
Mark’s multifaceted pieces feature an incredible range of materials including gold leaf, concrete and diamond dust. Specialising in reverse hand-pulled screen printing, his pieces primarily consist of mirror and glass, Mark works in reverse, screen printing and hand painting each edition meticulously.​
Screen-printing is the oldest form of printing and often artworks today are giclee printed by machine, screen printing involves printing completely by hand. To ensure continuity between each edition, Mark must be meticulous in aligning the screen with the glass. This can end in mistakes and is difficult to rectify often resulting in starting the piece from the beginning again.
 
A reverse hand-pulled screen print on to glass, all colours hand painted, with a real 23ct gold gild and a glitter insert. Raised above a 2 colour hand-pulled screen print on to heritage board
