CAROLINE WRIGHT - SURFER'S PARADISE

£1,600.00Price

Surfer’s Paradise is such a special piece,  a beautiful blend of surf history and Caroline Wright’s playful, colour-led style.

This original 6ft surfboard was shaped in the late 1970s by Steve ‘Griffo’ Griffith, founder of The Emerald Surf Shop on Cronulla Beach in Sydney.
After years of riding waves across different oceans, it’s been given a completely new life as a work of art.

Caroline has transformed the surface using bright, bold colour and layers of resin to echo the look and feel of a tropical shoreline. It has that same sense of warmth, movement and escapism you get from being by the sea, while still feeling fresh and contemporary.

It’s strung and ready to hang vertically, or you can simply lean it against a wall for a more relaxed feel. However it’s displayed, it’s a real statement piece, full of personality, colour and that easy, coastal energy.
